Group and Private ~ Virtual and in-person

Movement is your baby’s first language. Connect with your baby in her native tongue.

You understand that powerful mothering begins by you taking charge of your health during pregnancy. You want to feel strong and capable in both your mind and your body. You want a community of support, friends, sisterhood. You want non-judgmental answers to your smallest and biggest questions. Join us.

You want to feel confident about your birth, but everyone has an opinion about what’s best for you and what’s best for your baby.

Maybe you're pregnant for the first time and you're concerned about aches, discomforts and new sensations.

Maybe you feel isolated or disconnected from other mothers and crave being in community with other women.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How is this yoga series going to help me?

Soothe and strengthen the pregnant body! Yoga asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing techniques) can be incredible palliative measures for the symptoms of pregnancy, as well as invaluable tools for the journey through labor and birth. Also, it’s fun, and you meet other pregnant queens, and we laugh a lot.

I’m new to yoga. Can I join this series?

Absolutely! Pregnancy is a wonderful time to begin a yoga practice. Our class moves slowly and mindfully, and can be adapted for a variety of strength and mobility levels.

I’m bigger than most women I see doing yoga. Is this class for me?

This class is designed to be accessible to most bodies, regardless of size, flexibility, or level of fitness. Curiosity and willingness are all you need. We welcome YOU.

My care provider diagnosed me high-risk. Is this class safe for me?

There are many reasons someone can be deemed “high-risk”. If you wish, speak with your provider for their opinion on low-impact prenatal exercise. Additionally, I suggest that you define risk for yourself and trust that you know what’s best for you and your baby.

I’ve been told that my baby is in a breech position. Is this class right for me?

Firstly, babies can be born breech! If you are interested in encouraging your babe to move into a new position, movement and yoga can be helpful. If you wish, speak with your provider for their opinion on low-impact prenatal exercise for breech presenting babies.

What is my pelvis / pelvic floor?

Understanding the pelvis is a core component of our movement practice! We learn about the anatomy and physiology of our pelvises, connect with our pelvic floor muscles through breathe, and learn which actions and positions help the baby engage, move through, and exit the pelvis.
